Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced (Part – II)

The distinction between a salesman and a statesman offers a lens to understand how they are perceived, one as more focused on image, self-promotion, and selling ideas, and the other on larger principles, vision, and ideals. This contrast reflects the public and media discourse around the two leaders but is deeply subjective, depending on one’s political leanings and views on leadership.

Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced.  He failed to assert himself.  As Prime Minister of India, he would have wielded power with grandeur and not by authoritarianism undermining democratic institutions. He had misused authority to prosecute sitting Chief Ministers and. Hemant Soren, Jharkhand and Manish Sisodia, Delhi released.

His regime favoured majority rule over minority rights, manipulated courts and the Election Commission and violated constitutional norms. A decade of de facto emergency stifled with freedoms and media coercion from compliance. They gave rise to partisan journalism.

Narendra Modi better go for mid-term poll to end his misrule without further harm. Let democracy flourish, honouring the constitutional ideals of India’s founding fathers. Resist dragging the nation back to pre-Independence days. There’s no place for authoritarianism, ideological fanaticism, or media coercion in Indian set up.

There is no place for Modiocracy, Modiism, and Modicide spray in India now, which have destroyed the very foundations of democracy.  He proposed June 25th as “Samvidhaan Hatya Divas.” How would he characterize October 31st and May 21st? They mark these assassinations of sitting Indian Prime Ministers due to their wrong policies?

Using the term “Hatya” is constitutionally questionable, but he would not mind? Despite this, he declared national mourning, indicating a disregard for constitutional principles. Is it any wonder the opposition accuses his of attempting to alter the Constitution?

Narendra Modi stepped in the shoes of Rahul Gandhi only to confuse the Bhartiya Janata Party cadres and the estranged voters. Modi would not like to defame him any longer since by his going so, boomeranged.  Modi usurped the policies and programmes announced by Rahul Gandhi.  The latest is the withdrawal of lateral entry policy, recruiting high officials directly from the corporate world without any reservations. Expecting back lash in the proposed elections, Modi withdrew the policy.

Modi may consider including caste category in the proposed population censes exercise to out smart Rahul Gandhi’s tirade on caste-based census.  He had already with withdrawn the proposed Broadcasting bill and referred the Wakf Board Amendment bill to a select committee of Parliament.  He might also consider to re-think on the Supreme Court’s judgement on sub-classification within the reservations. His intention to prolong his rule. He is standing on outsourced support systems . His popularity is diminishing.

Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced- Disrespect to Kharge and Rahul.

Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced.  During Independence Day on 15th August, 2024, Leader of the Oppositions Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi made sit on the fifth row, disrespecting the protocol and demoralised the Constitutional posts. Rahul Gandhi sitting in the front rows, Narendra Modi would not be able to deliver the Independence Speech.

The public sentiment is turning against him. Even his supporters are struggling to defend his actions. In the 2024 elections, despite delivering speeches in seventeen constituencies of Maharashtra State, he lost fourteen of them.

In Manipur, despite a dual governance model, he lost all parliamentary seats. In West Bengal, his tally decreased from 18 to 12 seats compared to the previous elections.

In the July 2024 bye-elections for assembly segments, he secured only two out of thirteen seats. He avoided holding elections for the Mumbai Municipal Corporation due to potential backlash, and he had lost a stronghold seat in Gujarat to the Congress

Across states like Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, he lost five, twelve, and twenty-nine seats respectively. Meanwhile, the Congress party saw a rise from 55 to 99 seats, contrasting with his decline from 303 to 240. Indeed, a disappointing outcome.

Modi forgot that he is on the support of aides.   But Amit Shah has not. He has cautioned against electing a “crutch-dependent” government in Haryana, implying instability. The nation’s sentiment towards him has soured significantly. Even within his rank and file there’s uncertainty about how to defend his actions.  There are no takers within BJP on the declaration of Amit Shah that nobody would unseat them for the next 35 years.

Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced- He is a burden

Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced.  He has become a burden rather than an asset. In the 2024 elections, of the seventeen constituencies where he had campaigned, he lost fourteen, a stark indication of waning support. Manipur, once governed by a strong coalition, he lost all its parliamentary seats. In West Bengal, his tally dropped from 18 seats previously to just 12.

Amit Shah also emphasized that Haryana would not provide reservations to Muslims, criticizing such policies in Karnataka as unconstitutional. However, this stance appears contradictory considering his alliance with Chandra Babu Naidu, who included a 3.5% reservation policy for minorities in a joint manifesto before the 2024 state assembly elections.  This apparent double standard on reservations is noteworthy.

Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced – Failed foreign policy

Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced.  The foreign policy adopted by Narendra Modi has not been good for India in his regime and the Foreign Minister S. Shivshankar has been a flop. Ajith Doval confined himself to curtail the internal political scenario all the time and save his boss from losing power.  All the neighbours are not in good terms with India.  India lost Canada and Maldives.  Nepal ties are not fine.  The United States of America and United Kingdom have not been happy with Modi’s ways of governance.

The Arab world is irritated when India supported Israel in the war against Palestine.  Ukraine is also not happy with India’s policies against its aggression by Russia. France, Germany, Türkiye all are not in good terms.  India needs to redraw its foreign policy.  Non-Aligned Moment has not seen any forward movement in the last 10 years of Modi rule.

The SAARC has not seen any light of the day.  Narendra Modi and Amit Shah interested in building their images, while the affairs of external happenings are astray in the weak hands of S. Shivshankar.  Sheikh Hasina Wajed collapsed and India failed to grasp the reasons behind the unrest in Bangladesh and the result was lethal.  She had to fled the country for which her family sacrificed to make it a reality. She is under the protectorate of India.

Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced – Vinish Phogat revenged

Re – elections – Narendra Modi will not give up power- he is destined to be disgraced.  The entire country reacted with awe at her conundrum and sympathised with her, stressing that Vinesh was a hero and would remain so, despite her disqualification.  A great furore took place in both the houses of Parliament for a special discussion on her fate and to probe into a probable conspiracy angle that might have taken place to see her exit from winning a medal.  Presiding Officers of the Parliament rejected their demand

He had appealed against the disqualification and to consider her to a silver medal.  The appeal rejected.  The Indian Authorities hired Harish Salve only to show-cause their seriousness. She received for a rousing welcome on 17th August, 2024. No body rom government came to receive her quoting election code of conduct, a dumb excuse.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent her message of support immediately after Vinish Phogat’s disqualification and he had not sent any congratulatory message to her when she was qualified for a sure silver medal.

What does this indicate, was he really pranking her.  Most of the senior leaders followed the Prime Minister but not before.  It was a pathetic scenario, when all of them started to support in hour of crisis, anger and disappointment.  Did the Prime Minister want to prove that ‘if Modi, sure to happen’, epithet.

Indian Olympic officials detained her for eight days in Paris. Narendra Modi would not like to see her on the chairs or he would not like to see her when he meets the Olympic participants.   Moreover, he would not like to see her chatting with Rahul Gandhi and the visual would not go viral. What type of Prime Minister is Modi? People ask. He does not deserve to be Prime Minister any longer.  Sooner he goes the better for the country. It is celebration time for India if mid term elections held .  The people would feel relieved if Narendra Modi goes by people’s preference
