The politics of live-in relationship – Pawan Kalyan – Pawan’s vastitude and vision

The politics of live-inrelationship – Pawan Kalyan .  Konidela Kalyan Babu alias Pawan Kalyan got acting opportunity on a platter from his brother Chiranjeevi, a veteran actor trained in the craft of film acting. So was his political career.  Chiranjeevi encouraged by his popularity in films, wanted to try his luck in politics too like NTR the legendary actor turned politician.  NTR did taste the Chief Ministership, but Chiranjeevi miserably failed and thus aborted the venture abruptly.

Pawan did not learn from either of the two examples but scorned at them to be old-fashioned individuals of past lore. A self-exiled actor with no educational background and academic foundations, boasted to have read thousands of books, works and biographies of the world personalities that would make him a unique, different politician with modern political philosophy.

He drew self-equations and inspiration to establish ideologies of having unequivocal knowledge and wisdom.  He declared that he would embark on path that would fathom a generational shift in politics in the country.  He did internalise the politics as simple but failed to assess the Indian political system which is complex and complicated.

An academician and a scholarly person could have drawn equations before acting upon, but deprived of these faculties, Pawan placed himself above all and was out to prove them wrong. He entangled himself in such a mesh that it would be disastrous for him to move ahead or go back.

He was insatiable and aimed at the high sky of opportunities in the political horizon of Andhra Pradesh.  He laughed at his brother Chiranjeevi when he humbly left politics by merging his Praja Rajyam Party in Congress. Pawan was the head of the youth wing of the party, Yuvarajyam.

His unique acting style and mannerisms, martial arts and philanthropic activities could make him a hero but would not fetch him laurels in politics as had been rightly understood by Chiranjeevi.

Pawan is not a great actor but a good actor but that does not mean he can become a great politician. Remember the miserable life of politics meted out to the greatest actor NTR.  He was torn apart by his own children, kith and kin and the prodigal son-in-law Chandra Babu Naidu. He died disheartened in seclusion.

Pawan did not draw inspiration from NTR, his brother, Rajiv Gandhi etc.  He mis read his reading faculties.  Running a state craft is different and running a political party is more difficult.

Pawan failed to learn the precarious conditions that are being faced by Narendra Modi.  Modi emerged with full of inspiration and aspirations.  His personality is at the low ebb now, he has to trample upon the institutions, agencies and sense and sensibilities of Indian people to stay in power.  Modi did survive due to his experiments in Gujarat but they are proving ultra virus and detrimental to democracy and his supremacy.

Pawan has not understood that not all his films had a great success but a few.  Some were flops and failed miserably at the box offices. Politics is a different ball game.  Whatever, he had earned hardly, would be dissolved in no time, and he would become a proper for life.

A different kind of person, who does not believe in ethics, morals and principles but ride on them can only succeed in politics in India. The living example is Chandra Babu Naidu, who amassed wealth and prosperity to face all odds what may come in his way.

He survived politically but not in governance power and in the hearts of the people. Naidu worked for a community.  He is struggling to regain sustenance. The power has left him permanently.  He would not become a pauper since Chandra Babu has made many strong rooms of wealth unlike Pawan.

Pawan’s awards, nominations and invitations to international fora are not going come to his rescue in politics.  His celebrity image and black belt histrionics would have no impact on his political scene.

The politics of live-in relationship – Pawan Kalyan . Pawan founded Jana Sena Party on 14 March 2014.  It was stated that the party was based on his book Ism and anguish against his brother for aborting it.  He declared that he was against the precepts of Congress. His initial swing was with Bhartiya Janata Party.  It was stated that Chandra Babu was behind the move.

He campaigned extensively for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and BJP alliance in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He did not dare to utter a word against Chandra Sekhar Rao (KCR), the then Chief Minister of Telangana fearing back-lash.

Pawan announced the Jana Sena party’s 2019 election manifesto with many measures to improve the lives of farmers, farm labourers, women, youth, and students. His aligned with Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), and Bahujan Samaj Party for both Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The Jana Sena Party contested 140 constituencies in 2019 elections.  Pawan contested two constituencies – Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram and lost both to YSR Congress Party.  His party could win from Razole, a sole seat for the party.

On 16 January 2020, Kalyan announced his party’s alliance with BJP to fight elections in 2024 but broken the alliance for the sake of TDP.

The politics of live-in relationship – Pawan Kalyan – The caste push politics

The politics of live-in-relationship – Pawan Kalyan.  Pawan Kalyan, a Kapu, an agrarian caste, blindly took it for granted that the Kapu caste would go with him through his histrionics and artistic ways and dramatism.  He could not grasp the conditions that failed his brother.

Andhra Pradesh’s politics had been controlled by two caste groups – the Reddys and the Kammas. From 1980s, the Kapus, started competing with them to gain power.

Vangaveeti Ranga from Vijayawada, was one such leader who challenged the Kammas.  He was murdered in 1988.  Mudragada Padmanabham came to the lime light afterwards. Mudragada could not sustain.

The emerging Praja Rajyam Parthy of Chiranjeevi, did manage to win 18 seats The party’s success was attributed to its social justice plank not linked to the caste politics of Kapus.

Chiranjeevi tried to unite the Kapus together. But did not happen. Pawan’s effort to pacify Mudragada Padmanabham boomeranged, due to Chandra Babu factor. Pawan failed to recall the fate meted out to Mudragada during the reign of Chandra Babu Naidu. He was abused, detained, the rail fiasco and the cases of rioting.

At times, Pawan left the NDA and began attacking the BJP, Naidu on the special category status and charging them of corruption.

In fact, he was part time politics and branded him the chief of Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘B’ team, his paid employee and an adopted son. Pawan was frowned as a package politician.  If his strange ways were reckoned, nobody would prove him wrong.

The politics of live-in relationship – Pawan Kalyan – The Andhra Pradesh politics

The politics of live-in relationship – Pawan Kalyan. Of late he repented he had to face the ire of the BJP for batting TDP, Jana Sena and BJP alliance. He further said he had suffered mental agony in the process of forging the alliance.

He said that Janasena Party and TDP are needed for good governance and development of Andhra Pradesh, of course, a blatant lie.  According to him the TDP warranted a helping hand of Janasainks and their young blood to emancipate it.

He was on the streets when Chandra Babu Naidu had been in jail, hoping to gain sympathy from TDP cadres that he could turn TDP cadres towards his party, which was an ill-conceived mirage.  Chandra Babu had been a real Indian politician and Pawan would never understand his moves and motives.

He reiterated that heir coming together would be imminent to dethrone YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh. But the ground realities are indifferent. Neither Pawan has got an upper hand over the TDP nor their togetherness would be able to take on the YSRCP.

Pawan Kalyan is in the grip of BJP & and the RSS

Pawan Kalyan failed to understand that his victory in the recent Assembly and Parliament elections was not due to his charisma nor his party cadres.  It was the conspiracy of the BJP to push him to Andhra politics as a tool against Chandra Babu Naidu.  Pawan does not truly love TDP.  He has been trying to weaken the TDP with the  help of BJP.

All  Pawan’s actions as Dy. Chief Minister have been in consonance with the BJP planning.  He met Amit Shah recently without informing Chandra Babu Naidu.  The BJP will align with Pawan Kalyan in future elections, in case Chandra Babu Naidu exit BJP.

The squabbles happing in the family of  Mohan Babu could be attributed to the encroachment of BJP and the RSS. The move of the Manchu Manoj family to join Jana Sena Party strengthens this  thinking.

In the past Amit Shah met Jr. NTR.  It was nothing but a strategic move  of BJP.  The BJP awaits for a right moment to side step Chandra Babu Naidu.  It would not mind to  create another front with the help of Jagan Mohan Reddy against Congress in future.  Given the opportunity it would also sideline Pawan Kalyan. It is time that Pawan Kalyan be aware of the BJP future moves.

The politics of live-in relationship – Pawan Kalyan -The Telangana politics

The politics of live-in relationship – Pawan Kalyan.  He had been misnomer in Telangana politics. Had he dared to utter a word against KCR, his film business would have been bulldozed in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana.  He had been keeping mum all these years. A sane move got to his mind.

The politics of Live-in-relationship – Pawan Kalyan – The dream to be a CM

The politics of Live-in-relationship – Pawan Kalyan. Every leader of a political party has to have a desire and dream to be Chief Minister.  Nobody would eventually have come to the conclusion that he would be destined to be a Chief Minister.

NTR, MGR of Tamil Nadu could do it because they were made of different mettle and the entire society was crazy for them.  KCR went to death bed for the sake of bifurcation.  He had the charisma of drawing crowds, the youth and intelligentsia too moved with him.

Pawan simply mesmerised the masses with acting faculties, angry young man posture and oratorial skills which would draw the masses to the theatres but not to the polling booths.

The politics of Live-in-relationship – Pawan Kalyan – Pawan’s Politics – a jumbled and remorse journey

The politics of Live-in-relationship – Pawan Kalyan.  Pawan does have the personality of the late YSR, the sincerity of NTR or MGR, the perseverance of Jayalalita, KCR and Jaganmohan Reddy.

He had been used by Chandra Babu Naidu and Bhartiya Janata Party and he would be trampled upon by them in future.  Enter Jr. NTR, both Chandra Babu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan would be lost in the winds of warm seas of Andhra Pradesh.  He has been a victim and Andhra Pradesh politics.   The sooner he realises the better for him.
