NITISH KUMAR – his dementia at his best and career at its worst

Nitish Kumar in happy moments with Narendra Modi

Nitish Kumar is suffering from dementia undoubtedly.  He is at the verge of collapse from his political career at the altar of the politics of Narendra Modi.

Narendra Modi’s eleven days’ penance undertaken by him recently to become a super human being of the Hindu masses, to cleanse of his political foibles, has come true.  Yes, Nitish Kumar flipped again!

Narendra Modi would benefit however Nitish Kumar would end his career after so many years of toil.  He was branded as a clean – image-guy, the finest administrator and the incorruptible – demi – God.

Nitish Kumar’s advisors would relish whereas the Bhartiya Janata Party would laugh at his foolhardy and would wreck him smoothly and slowly.

The Bihar electorate would scorn at Nitish Kumar and give him a befitting reply in the next elections, where he could be delegated to a cipher of symptomatic dementia symbol.  It would have been wiser had his well-wishers rushed to his rescue. But it was be late.

On his recent flip-flop he retorted that he prefers death rather than go back to Bhartiya Janata Party.  Amit Shah declared that the doors of his party had been shut permanently to Nitish Kumar and to his colleague Lallan Singh. Nitish Kumar virtually died, only his skeleton is with BJP.

How bizarre is Nitish Kumar’s desire to flock to the caravan he had quit!  It is proved that the Indian politics is a fools’ paradise, whose meanderings know nobody.

The harakiri of the nature of Nitish Kumar only sprang surprise to the Lalu Prasad camp in addition to Congress and the Communists.  Mallikarjun Kharge reiterated that Nitish Kumar had been an agent of Narendra Modi since the formation of the INDIA alliance.

He had been playing a spoil sport in their camp. He had attempted to mollify him but failed. He has no regrets.  INDIA is strong and will remain strong and it is a pilgrim’s progress on a sacred mission.

NITISH KUMAR – his dementia at his best and career at its worst – Political permutations

Nitish Kumar’s fifty years of political life is at the verge of collapse.  He joined Jayaprakash Narayan in 1974. He entered his political career with Janata party headed by Satyendra Narain Sinha in 1977.

Initially he had socialist tendencies and was associated with Ram Manohar Lohia, Karpuri Thakur and later V. P. Singh, the Mandal god.

He entered the State Assembly from Harnaut in 1985. Lalu Prasad Yadav backed him at the beginning during 1989 but later Nitish Kumar joined BJP in 1996 after he had won his first Lok Sabha seat from Barh, Bihar.

Nitish Kumar and George Fernandes formed Samata Party in 1994, whereas Lalu Prasad Yadav formed Rastriya Janata Dal in 1997.  The Samata Party and Janata Dal parties merged to form Janata Dal (United).

In 2004 General elections, Lalu’s Rastriya Janata Dal won 26 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, he became Union Railway Minister.  But in 2005 Bihar Assembly elections JD(U) and BJP led coalition defeated the RJD.  Nitish Kumar became a Union Minister for Railways and Minister for Surface Transport and later the Minister for Agriculture in 1998–99, in the National Democratic Alliance government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

In August 1999, he resigned following the Gaisal train accident. Later he rejoined the Union Cabinet as Minister for Agriculture.

From 2001 to May 2004, he was again the Union Minister for Railways.   In the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, he contested elections from two places, when he was elected from Nalanda but lost from his traditional constituency, Barh.

NITISH KUMAR – his dementia at his best and career at its worst – his flip – flops

In March 2000, Nitish was elected Chief Minister of Bihar for the first time at the behest of the Vajpayee Government in the centre.   On 10th March, 2000, Nitish Kumar resigned before he could prove his majority in the house.

He held the post of Chief Minister for seven days. After the victory in 2005 Bihar Assembly elections, Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister.

In 2010, Kumar Kumar’s party swept back to power along with its allies, the Bhartiya Janata Party and he again became Chief Minister by winning 206 seats.

On 17 May 2014, Nitish Kumar resigned, a day after his party fared badly in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, winning just 2 seats against 20 in the past. Jitan Ram Manjhi was made Chief Minster.

Nitish Kumar again became Chief Minister on 22 February 2015 on the backdrop of upcoming 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections with RJD and Congress Grand Alliance to counter the BJP.

The Grand Alliance won the Assembly elections by a margin of 178 over the BJP and its allies with Rastriya Janata Dal emerging as the largest party with 80 seats and Janata Dal United placed second with 71.

Nitish Kumar was sworn in as Chief Minister of Bihar on 20 November 2015 for the fifth time and Tejaswi Yadav became Deputy Chief Minister.

When corruption charges were levelled against Tejaswi Yadav, Nitish Kumar asked him to resign from the cabinet. The Rastriya Janata Dal refused to do so, and therefore Nitish Kumar resigned on 26 July 2017, thus ending the Grand Alliance.  He joined the principal opposition, the NDA, and came back to power within a few hours.

In 2020 elections, NDA managed to get majority in Legislature Assembly by winning 125 seats as compared to Grand Alliance’ 110 seats. Nitish Kumar was sworn in as Chief Minister for the seventh time with Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi as his Deputies

On 9 August 2022, Kumar resigned and quit NDA, announcing that his party would form a government in coalition with the Rastriya Janata Dal and Indian National Congress.  On 10 August, 2022, he sworn in as the chief minister of the state for the eighth time in 22 years.

BJP reluctantly but forcibly allowed Nithis Kumar to its fold since it had no alternative arrangement in Bihar. It had been hunting him for some time.  Notwithstanding Nitish Kumar’s inclination to slant towards it, Nitish Kumar’s unpredictable nature was worrying BJP.

His credentials were in doubt since he was power – hungry and would not like to hand over the baton of the post of the Chief Ministership to others. His mental mettle was rattling.

Once he declared that Tejaswi Yadav as his heir -apparent for the Chief Ministership.  But he dumped the government when Tejaswi had refused to resign due to corruption charges.  He now would not want to hand over the power to Tejaswi.

He had aspired to become the Convener of INDIA alliance, when offered he refused because he was not a unanimous choice, an excuse since Enforcement Directorate had been raiding his close financiers along with  the Pegasus.

It was said that a Red Diary had been confiscated from Nitish Kumar fund manager who was arrested and sent to jail. The Diary codes stated to had been linked to Janata Dal United funds, was the reason for Nitish Kumar flocking to BJP, since his Mr. Clean image would be jeopardised. Indeed, it was jeopardised.

His confidant Lallan Singh was removed from the Presidentship of the Janata Dal United.  He himself took over.  He shuffled the Cabinet for no perceptible reason. He transferred umpteen number of IAS and IPS officers in a single day.

It was stated that Lallan Singh had been in good books of Lalu Prasad Yadav and was hatching a conspiracy to split his Party.  He had kicked the NDA on the same pretext.  The BJP wanted a Modi guarantee that Nitish Kumar would not switch sides any time in future. He now boasted that he had troubles on both sides.

Nitish Kumar seemed to have forgotten that the BJP diplomacy had indeed, defeated his most of the contenders in the last Assembly elections in association with Chirag Paswan. He failed to understand the faculties of the BJP that he would be dismantled from the roots from Bihar in times to come.

His close and individualistic associates have been at work under the garb of the BJP elements to make Nitish Kumar to dance to the whims and facies so that they could fish in the troubled waters for achieving their goals to reach some higher echelons of the political power.

His wise advisors failed to come to his rescue, paying the way for annihilation of Janata Dal United Party and its existence from the political scene of Bihar for ever.

Nitish Kumar wanted to dissolve the Assembly and would like to go to elections along with Parliamentary polls.   His strategy was to gain more strength to his Party and want to improve his bargaining position to stick to power.

The Rastriya Janata Dal Party led by Lalu Prasad Yadav did not like to lose power at this juncture.  Lalu Prasad Yadav wanted Nitish Kumar to hand over the government to Tejaswi Yadav and play an active and a bigger role in INDIA alliance adventures. But Lalu Prasad Yadav had not been adamant to force his preferences. The BJP was hell bent to thwart the plan of Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Lalu Prasad would not allow Nitish Kumar to have his ways.  He might split the Janata Dal United to save his government and instal his son Tejaswi Yadav as Chief Minister, if things favour.  He seemed to have offered Chief Minister post Jitan Ram Manjhi.   But did not succeed.

The role of the Governor and the Speaker is vital in this game of politics.  Lalu Prasad wanted Nitish Kumar to resign so that his Party might claim to form the government.  Nitish Kumar was reluctant to do this.  But the BJP forced him to do so.

The BJP would want to grab the opportunity through the Governor so that it might play its game to its favour.  It has since succeeded by using the agencies.

On 28th January, 2023 morning Nitish Kumar submitted his resignation to the Governor and at the same time presented a letter of support of the BJP and others with 128 members in his support.  By evening he was sworn in as the Chief Minister for the ninth time along with two Deputy Chief Ministers – Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha.

Santosh Kumar Suman, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), Sumit Kumar Singh, an Independent, Prem Kumar from BJP, Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Bijendra Prasad Yadav and Shravan Kumar of Janata Dal United were also sworn as Cabinet Ministers.

The people were worst hit at this game of politics of power and self – goals sport. The insane king shall shun kingdom for the betterment of its subjects.

NITISH KUMAR – his dementia at his best and career at its worst – Finish Nitish? 9th time a penance time

The insane did not shun his kingdom but sticked to power. History would repeat. People’s rebellion would end the realm of the insane king sooner or later.

Nitish Kumar was giving finishing touches to his low ebb image of a clean-master under the thunder of BJP wings – the Central Bureau Investigation, Enforcement Directorate, the Income Tax and off course, the blessings of the great saint and hermit Narendra Modi.

Light lashes before crashes.  Nitish Kumar once the so-called light of Bihar would dim on the horizons of the Bihar and the people would be Enlighted to blow it off in a few months now.  Nitish Kumar would only fume and resume his journey to forest, while Bihar masses would laugh at him and say ‘long live Nitish.  Nestle an alternate Ramayan living in a castle’

NITISH KUMAR – his dementia at his best and career at its worst – menace is gone, the BJP is on.

Narendra Modi is at ease since Nitish Kumar, the menace is gone. It has got a huge sigh of relief that things have turned out so easily in its favour.  Narendra Modi would reward sumptuously to the agents and the officers of the agencies who had been at work tirelessly.

Tejaswi Yadav has politely announced that the game was on and he would not reveal his cards till the end. The eye-brows were exclaiming as to what would happen to the policies and programmes adopted by Tejaswi government.

Nitish Kumar would ensure the caste census in the Centre!  The scheme of payment of two lakh to the below poverty families would see the light of the day?  Twenty lakh jobs promised by Nitish Kumar would be implemented?  Policies on tourism, sports Industry, health or education etc., would continue?  Nitish Kumar would only answer.

Nitish Kumar would only work to keep JDU flock together by winning more seats in Parliament and the Assembly.  Narendra Modi and Amit Shaw would thwart his dreams. Let us wait and watch since the film is yet to unleash the suspense on the political scene.

NITISH KUMAR – his dementia at his best and career at its worst – Modicide at work.

In the Parliamentary elections held in 2024, Nitish Kumar got 12 out of 16 it contested.  The BJP was aghast at the outcome of the results. Nitish Kumar was happy at results of the Party Janata Dal (United) got.  He even made Sanjay Jha, a working President JDU Party, a sleeper cell candidate of BJP and Manish Varma, General Secretary of the Party, a confident of Nitish to check mate Sanjay Jha.

Nitish Kumar is still hoping to get the Assembly dissolved to enable him to go for elections with other State where elections are due to be held in next three months.  He has been tolerating the raids of his close associates and top Secretaries in the Government so as to keep Narendra Modi in good humour to achieve his goal and become undisputed Chief Minister of Bihar.

Nitish Kumar does not read the minds of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah under the influence of dementia he is suffering from.  The effect of dementia along with the side effects of Modicide, he has appreciated the budget allocation of 58,900 crores even though he had sought about 1.5 lakh crores. He is still not able to gauge the hidden agenda of Narendra Modi the Modicide, under which he would be on his way out on the lines of Naveen Patnaik, if he goes for early elections. Better late to grasp the hidden agenda than never.
